Original (not reproduction) last pattern US M1 helmet with liner, detachable suspension, neckband, headband and quick release chinstrap. Great examples of this now "out of production" classic helmet. Basically the same helmet from start of WW2 to the 1980's. Very good used condition with two stress fractures at the rear which appear to be common with the later made helmets. This helmet has the heat stamp number 631 beneath the front visor area indicating that this helmet was most probably made by RJ Stampings (Canada) between 1970-1977. The liner has original soldier's graffiti written on it. The helmet in the photos is the helmet you receive. See photos for main condition description.
NOTE: Reproductions of these helmets are now on the market which can only result in ORIGINAL helmets increasing in value. It also indicates that these original helmets are now becoming harder to find.
NOTE: These helmets are sold for collectable purposes only and are not suitable for any other purpose including, but not limited to, use on motorcycles, bicycles, skateboards etc and are not registered by Government authorities for these purposes.
