Genuine (not reproduction copy) Vietnam issue US made M1C Parachutist steel helmet with liner, sweatband, neckband and chinstraps. Suspension dated May 1967 and is Type II (Parachutist). Helmet heat stamp is M 339 C 1 (or 389) indicating McCord production and most likely for the contract run in 1965. The liner appears to have a very tiny mold stamp (too small for the camera to pick up) of "M" possibly indicating manufacture by Marmac Industries. Soldier's graffiti has been added to the outside of the liner with the words 'HELP ME" in large letters. Excellent condition with some scuffing. See photos for more description.
