Original and rare Australian WW2 P1944 parachutists machete bayonet made by Lithgow Small Arms Factory. Grips are marked Slaz (Slazenger Sporting Goods) and dated 1943. Serial number 4900 on the pommel. Exhibits the deep blue finish of the original bayonets and has the usual very small /|\ stamp on the ricasso facing towards the hilt. Complete with correct sheath/scabbard made by R.M.B. Ltd and dated 1944. Excellent condition and appears to have been unissued. The item in the photos is the item you receive.
