Scarce original military re-furbished US M1 Springfield/Garand Bayonet to fit the Italian Beretta BM59 rifle. Larger muzzle ring with inside diameter of approx. 22mm (.872 inches) for BM59 compensator. This bayonet was originally a US WW2 M1 bayonet made by U.C. (Utica Cutlery) and bearing their initials on the ricasso. The bayonet was later fitted with a new cross guard with a larger muzzle ring. No scabbard. Good used condition with some slight sharpening to the blade. The bayonet in the photo is the bayonet you receive. See photos for further main description.
