Product Description
Original as issued condition Australian WW2 RAAF issue Mk1 steel helmet dated 1940 and fitted with the post 1936 liner and chinstrap. On the front of the helmet is painted "A O " which is believed to stand for "Air Observer" for non-pilot aircrew and which, after 1942, the designation was changed to Navigator.
