Original US issue extreme cold weather forest green flyers hood. Size Extra Large so there is plenty of room for other warm headgear to be worn underneath. Contract dated 1985. The hood has plush lining, velcro closures, button holes in the base, and a zipper that goes down the middle (for what purpose I do not know). The zipper requires some lubrication if it is to be used as it has verdigris oxidization from long term storage. This is heavy duty top quality not the cheap repro items seen around in camping shops and department stores. The hood is suitable to wear with most cold weather jackets etc as it can be just put on when desired. Unissued condition. See photos for main condition description.
